5 Tips to Get The Ultimate Home Office

Without a doubt the office space is one the hardest working rooms in a home.  Whether you work at home or “manage” your family from your home office, a cold corporate office look is out of the question. So how do we create a functional yet stylish home office space? I’ve put together a few tips that will inspire you to create the ultimate home office.

1. Brighten up! A workspace should be a happy space. Bring some colour into your space and you will feel more uplifted when working.  Colour can also be brought in through brightly coloured furniture or colourful paper boxes, magazine holders etc.

2.  Shop for office furniture that is high quality (like the rest of the furniture in your home), low quality office furniture can ruin the look of your entire space and considering how much time we spend at work quality, comfort and style at a top priority. The Bestar’s Pro-Biz home office is part of their PRO series, this high quality collection is perfect for a small space or loft and is so stylish you won’t want to tuck it away!

3. Make it adjustable. Today’s home office furniture is designed to work for you and adjust to your needs. I love the Connexion home office by Bestar contains 10 different elements, so you can configure it in countless ways.

4. Shop for your style. Most office furniture has a modern feel so if that’s your style you will find lots of selection. If you prefer a more traditional look check out the Philippe office collection by Newton Furniture, the lines of this collection are classic and timeless. Visit The Quality Canadian Furniture “office” page for a full selection of styles.

5. Personalize! A home office needs to have a relaxed feel and personal feel. The easiest way to get a look you love is to bring in accessories your love and of course some pictures.
